FTC, or FIRST Tech Challenge, is a competition in which teams build, program, and design a robot and prepare to compete with other teams in the same league. Students in FTC will also have to think about managing their budgets, promoting their team, receiving sponsorships, and getting the local community involved as well. While being led by coaches as well as mentors, players enhance their abilities in STEM, as well as progress on their leadership and communication skills by working together as a team.
